The Home Depot is making its biggest commitment yet to its home professional (“pro”) business.
In the largest acquisition in its history, the home improvement giant has entered into an agreement to acquire SRS Distribution Inc. (SRS), a residential specialty trade distribution company across several verticals serving the professional roofer, landscaper and pool contractor sectors. Total value of the deal (including net debt) was put at approximately $18.25 billion.
